Welcome to The Art of Harmony

I’m a mixed-media artist and facilitator who weaves expression, embodiment and expansion into beauty and form to represent flow and harmony.

I create art and experiences that help us remember who we are.

My work explores encoded geometry- pattern systems that carry cultural memory, energetic intelligence, and ways of belonging. Drawing from the Tamil ritual art of kolam, I use dots and continuous lines to map relationships between self and world, structure and flow, inner and outer landscapes. These geometric forms are not decorative; they function as living maps that hold wisdom, invite presence, and reveal harmony beyond duality.

Through encoded geometry and archetypal portraiture, I create visual languages rooted in indigenous wisdom and oriented toward collective healing and future belonging.

My work is rooted in Indo-Futurism – an approach that reclaims indigenous Indian visual languages as future-facing systems of knowledge. Through sacred geometry, archetypal forms, and nature-based symbolism, I explore how ancestral wisdom offers pathways to belonging, balance, and collective harmony beyond duality.

Indo-Futurism: remembering the future through ancestral pattern, presence, and connection.

Boundaries. Balance. Belonging.

I paint possibilities to create change by flowing with harmony.

Art as a path to wholeness

I am Umayal, a multidisciplinary artist, storyteller, and facilitator exploring the intersection of creativity, healing, and belonging. My art is a living dialogue between boundaries and bridges  where identity, culture, and emotion meet in rhythm and color.

As an artist and relational alchemist, I explore how art transforms the way we relate to ourselves, to each other, and to the larger world we are part of. My work challenges inherited conditioning and cultural patterns that disconnect us from our bodies, our intuition, and our truth.

Through movement, mark-making, somatic awareness, and creative play, I guide individuals and communities into deeper self-awareness and collective resonance. Here, art is not a product  it is a practice of becoming. It is how we shape identity, build relational integrity, and create cultures of belonging.

I work at the nexus of Boundaries, Balance, Belonging, and Boundless Love – restoring the courage to feel, the freedom to express, and the power to be seen.

This is not just art.
This is relational evolution.
This is the artistry of being alive.

Indo-Futurism & Encoded Geometry

My work is rooted in Indo-Futurism, an approach that reclaims indigenous Indian visual languages as future-facing systems of knowledge. Rather than imagining the future as something separate from the past, I view it as something remembered and embodied -carried forward through ancestral wisdom, ritual, and pattern.

Central to my practice is encoded geometry: sacred pattern systems that hold cultural memory, energetic intelligence, and relational meaning. Drawing from the Tamil ritual art of kolam, I work with dots, continuous lines, and rhythmic symmetry to explore how form emerges from coherence rather than control. Each dot represents awareness; each line becomes energy in motion. Often created as a single, unbroken line, these works reflect infinite flow- no beginning, no end – symbolizing the sacred thread that interconnects all life.

Through kolam, archetypal portraiture, and nature-based symbolism, my work investigates themes of identity, belonging, boundaries, and sovereignty. I explore how structure and flow, shadow and light, individuality and collectivity are not opposing forces, but interdependent states. When boundaries are rooted in fear, they become walls; when rooted in love, they become bridges.

By bridging ancestral pattern systems with contemporary abstraction, my practice positions indigenous geometry not as decorative tradition, but as a living language—one that offers pathways toward healing, equality, and collective harmony. In this way, Indo-Futurism becomes a vision of the future shaped by remembrance, presence, and relational balance.

Experience the journey to wholeness and express
the essence of who you are, where love flows with harmony and balance.

Living in Flow leads to Harmony

I believe that creativity is not just about making art it’s about how we live, love, and express ourselves in the world.

Through every brushstroke, line, and movement, I return to the truth that art is how we relate  to self, to others, to the world.
My mission is to cultivate spaces of creative harmony where expression, emotion, and embodiment coexist in freedom and flow.

Because when we honor our boundaries, we open to belonging  and when we belong, we bloom.

Through my programs, art, and teachings, I create spaces where you can feel, express, and thrive—rooted in compassion and free in your flow.
